Another added service HealthAmericaOne offers to members is the option to open a Health Savings Account (HSA) through our partnership with HealthEquity on any of our QHDHP products.
- A QHDHP is a Qualified High Deductible Health Plan. They are designed to provide greater flexibility and lower premiums.
- A Health Savings Account (HSA) is a savings and spending account that can be funded with tax-advantaged contributions that earn interest or investment returns. You can use it to pay qualified health care expenses, save money for future medical expenses, or save for post-retirement expenses.

Notice: Before the end of October all members will receive a new HSA card during the reissue period. The reissue period will begin at the end of October and end by mid-November. All current members will have new cards by mid-November. These members will be notified that the card should be activated as soon as possible since their old cards will stop working towards the end of November.
For new enrollments, from the time period between the end of October and mid November, there will be a blackout period for sending new cards for the new enrollments we receive during this time. This is a one-time event and ultimately the reason for the delay will be a better member experience in the long run.
