HealthAmericaOne® has a variety of affordable individual and family health insurance plan options sure to meet the coverage and budget demands you face every day. Please note that definitions, benefits, requirements, and guidelines vary by market. The below responses were prepared especially for HealthAmerciaOne in Pennsylvania. This information is a partial description of benefits and in no way details all of the benefits, limitations, or exclusions of the plan. Another added service HealthAmericaOne offers to members is the option to open a Health Savings Account (HSA) through our partnership with HealthEquity on any of our QHDHP products. Why choose an HSA with HealthEquity through HealthAmericaOne? Beginning July 1, 2010, for new and renewing policies, parents have the option to elect health insurance coverage for their adult dependents through age 27. Under certain conditions, this allows dependents to remain covered by their parent’s health insurance up to age 28. For existing policies, parents can request to add an adult dependent for coverage on the policies first renewal date on or after July 1, 2010. All new policies issued on or after July 1, 2010 include the option to request adult dependent coverage. Parents must request this coverage at renewal or when a qualifying event occurs (e.g. loss of other coverage). Parents may also request this coverage when a currently enrolled dependent reaches the limiting age under the policy. To enroll an adult dependent, please contact us at (866) 874-2624 for additional information. ADDITIONAL RESOURCES: For more information, visit the Ohio Department of Insurance website at Complete details of benefits, terms and exclusions are governed by the HealthAmericaOne Group Contract. This managed care plan may not cover all your health care expenses. Read your Contract carefully to determine which health care services are covered.
